mydeposits is the third government-authorised scheme in England and Wales, offering insured and custodial protection.
How to check
- Use the mydeposits 'Check your deposit' search with your details.
- You should have received a deposit protection certificate from mydeposits.
- Search the DPS and TDS too — a landlord only needs to use one scheme.
Disputes
mydeposits provides free ADR. If your landlord proposes deductions you disagree with, you can raise a dispute instead of accepting the repayment.
Not found on any scheme?
